The introduction of the EU Regulation on Medicines for Paediatric Use into European law in January 2007 has led to the establishment of a number of paediatric research networks across Europe, some operating in a similar fashion to the MCRN. The European Medicines Agency has established the Enpr-EMA network of paediatric research networks in order to provide linkages between these networks.
